After years of quarterback misery, the Arizona Cardinals hoped they had found a difference-maker at the position with the offseason acquisition of Carson Palmer. While Palmer has been better than the John Skelton/Kevin Kolb/Ryan Lindley combo platter of a year ago, the 11-year veteran has struggled this year. He looks to get his problems solved Sunday against the Houston Texans.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Carson Palmer
The Cardinals quarterback hasn’t been able to avoid the interception this season. Can he keep the ball in his team’s hands Sunday? We break down the fantasy implications.

Through eight games this season, Palmer has thrown for 1,913 yards, with just ten touchdowns against 14 interceptions. He has yet to go a game without an interception, and has thrown multiple picks in five of the eight games. Palmer sits at only a72.4 passer rating on the season.
Fantasy impact: Palmer hasn't had a 20-point fantasy day yet this season, and hasn't gotten higher than 15 since Week 1, which also happened to be his only game on the season with more than 300 passing yards. While the presence of a real NFL quarterback has been a boon to wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, there are still a few steps between "Carson Palmer" and "fantasy starter."
The good news for Palmer and fantasy owners is that Sunday’s game comes against a Texans team that only has three interceptions on the season, so it’s possible Palmer will be able to keep possession of the ball for a game. But it’s a hollow solace; Palmer shouldn’t start in any but the deepest leagues this week.
