Perhaps no quarterback has been more consistent than Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill this season. "Consistent" does not necessarily equal "successful," however, as Tannehill has scored between nine and 16 fantasy points in all eight games this season. Monday, he looks to break through against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Ryan Tannehill
The Dolphins quarterback has been consistent, but not dominant, in fantasy this season. Can he break through for a big game against the winless Buccaneers? We break down the fantasy implications.

On the season, Tannehill has thrown for just under 2,000 passing yards, with 11 touchdowns to go with nine interceptions, and one rushing score. He has one three-touchdown game and two two-touchdown games, but also has the same number of three- and two-interception games.
Fantasy impact: Tannehill has averaged only 198 passing yards in his last three games, but has five touchdown passes in that time. Monday, the Dolphins take on a Tampa Bay Buccaneer defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season, which could be the salve to help Tannehill break through the 16-point fantasy barrier.
While Tannehill doesn’t really have the ceiling of many other fantasy quarterbacks, his consistent production — double-digit scoring in every game but one this season — means he has a higher floor than many other quarterbacks, which is an attribute that has value on its own. Tannehill isn’t a QB1 option by any means, but he could be a fine start in two-quarterback formats.
