Fantasy football projections, Week 10: Bills vs. Steelers featuring E.J. Manuel, Stevie Johnson and Le’Veon Bell
We break down the Week 10 contest between the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Buffalo Bills
Quarterback E.J. Manuel (knee sprain) has been cleared to play against the Steelers. There is no doubt that his return gives the Bills a better chance to win in Pittsburgh. The fact that he will be under center has to be good news for wide receivers Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods -- if he plays. Woods is a rookie who emerged on the fantasy radar this season as Manuel tended to look to him as a go-to target, but he is doubtful for the game.
Johnson was picked in fantasy drafts in the mid-rounds because of his ability to act as the Buffalo Bills’ possession receiver. He’s especially valuable in leagues that reward receptions for that reason. This season has been sort of a down year for Johnson as he’s struggled with hip problems and hasn’t been able to find the end zone as often as usual. The good news for Johnson’s owners is that he has played better of late and with the team’s best quarterback starting on Sunday, he could be in for a healthy fantasy day.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger found himself in a shootout against the New England Patriots and Tom Brady back in Week 9. The result was a 400-yard passing game to go with four touchdowns, but the Steelers nonetheless came up short. Although the Bills' secondary is not the most intimidating, fantasy owners should not necessarily expect another shootout. Big Ben will be relying on running back Le'Veon Bell to put together back-to-back solid efforts.
Bell did not find the end zone against New England, but he did manage 139 total yards in the game and looked more effective catching passes out of the backfield than he has all season. He has always been known as a running back that can catch the ball and if he can add that to his repertoire on a more permanent basis, he has additional value in leagues that reward receptions.
