Fantasy football projections, Week 10: Lions vs. Bears featuring Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Jay Cutler

The Week 10 matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears is sure to be intense with huge divisional implications. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

It's no secret that the Lions passing game can put up a heck of a lot of points in a hurry. Such is the case when you have Matthew Stafford playing quarterback and Calvin Johnson as your No. 1 wide receiver. Stafford has thrown for an average of over 400 yards in the team's last two games, including 488 yards passing against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8. He will no doubt play better against the Bears this time around as Stafford only managed one touchdown and 242 yards passing against the Bears back in Week 4.

The Bears will come into the game against the Lions as a slight underdog, but they should still feel good about their chances of winning. That's because quarterback Jay Cutler (torn groin) will start for the team. He will be back in the lineup a week earlier than expected and is no doubt an upgrade over backup Josh McCown. However, it remains to be seen how mobile Cutler will be in the pocket given the nature of his injury. He is a good option as a starting quarterback in deeper leagues, but he didn't play that well in the game against Lions earlier this year so it might be best to sit him out just for this week.

Fantasy owners who do choose to go with Cutler will look for him to reach out to his favorite wide receiver, Brandon Marshall. Marshall had his third 100-yard receiving game of the season against the Packers last week and was targeted a team-high 13 times in the contest. He was targeted 14 times by Cutler against the Lions back in September, and will no doubt be busy this Sunday.

Alshon Jeffery will also be worth a look against the Lions. Although he has cooled off recently, Jeffery managed five catches for 107 yards and a touchdown against Detroit earlier this season.
