There has been talk of Bryant’s injury potentially being as serious as a bulging or herniated disc, but those are rumors at this point. Even against a team as tough as the Saints, the Cowboys likely wouldn’t risk playing Bryant if there was such a serious risk of further injury.
Bryant has been one of the top fantasy receivers this season. He's caught 51 passes for 705 yards with eight touchdowns. He's a No. 1 receiver and will be crucial in helping Tony Romo and the Cowboys keep up with Drew Brees and the Saints.
Fantasy Impact: Bryant, as noted, is incredibly effective as a fantasy receiver this season. He is a must-start any time he plays, and it sounds an awful lot like he’s going to play, unless the Cowboys are trying to deceive the Saints. That might actually be something that occurs, so still keep an eye on the inactives list, but for now, he’s a must-start.
