Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert will get the start on Sunday with Jermaine Gresham inactive due to a groin injury.
Tyler Eifert gets the start for Bengals, makes for boom-or-bust fantasy play
The Bengals will look to their talented rookie to take the bulk of the snaps at tight end with Jermaine Gresham out. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gresham's absence certainly doesn't help the Bengals passing game as a whole, but it will pave the way for Eifert to take the lion's share of the snaps. While two-tight-end sets are likely out of the majority of the game plan, Eifert will move up a notch on the totem pole amid a receiving corps saturated with options for quarterback Andy Dalton.
Fantasy Spin: This certainly makes things easier for Eifert's fantasy prospects, but as alluded to before, there are still several receiving options that Dalton can look toward, including A.J. Green, Marvin Jones, Mohamed Sanu and Giovani Bernard. Eifert has the chops to capitalize on the targets he is given, but versus a Baltimore Ravens defense that is 10th in the NFL in pass defense, it could be rough goings.
On paper, this looks like it could be a trap for Eifert's fantasy owners, but he is still worth a start as long as there are tempered expectations. In a week that features the likes of Rob Gronkowski and Jordan Cameron on byes, owners could do much worse than Eifert as a contingency plan. He's a high-upside gamble this week, but a gamble nonetheless.
