St. Louis Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin scored two TDs in the first half against the Indianapolis Colts.
Tavon Austin having a coming-out party, fantasy value on the rise
Tavon Austin has a couple scores in the first half. We break down the fantasy implications.

He ran a fly route for a 57-yard score down the sideline and was about three strides ahead of the defense before Kellen Clemens put the ball right on him for the easy score.
His return TD was a wild one for 98 yards. The rookie was in the corner, but somehow the Colts couldn't corral him and he took a B-line down the sideline.
The West Virginia product had just 31 catches entering today's game and the Rams haven't be utilizing him, so this comes as a surprise. He became the first Rams player since Torry Holt to score two TDs of 57 yards or more.
Fantasy impact: It’s only just one game, so his owners shouldn’t crack the champagne or anything yet. Although, Austin running deep routes is a great sign and could help buoy his value. Interestingly, his previous longest play from scrimmage was only 25 yards. He should be owned in all leagues following this game, but isn’t a reliable guy until he can string some games together.
