Last Sunday, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate, playing in his first game with teammate Sidney Rice sidelined, was shut down, catching only three balls for 29 yards. He's had a much bigger game through one half in Week 10 as the Seahawks lead the Atlanta Falcons, 23-3, at halftime.
Golden Tate gives fantasy owners 83 first-half yards and a score
The Seahawks wide receiver was shut down a week ago, but has had a big first half against the Falcons Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tate has caught three passes -- two for more than 30 yards -- for 83 yards and a touchdown so far in the game. Fellow wide receiver Jermaine Kearse has also had a big half, with 75 yards and a score on three catches.
Fantasy impact: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers focused all their attention (including the attentions of cornerback Darrelle Revis) on Tate a week ago, as he was the remaining stud in the Seahawks' offense. After a week to adjust -- and with no Revis-level player in the Falcons secondary -- this is the Tate fantasy owners had been hoping for.
With wide receiver Percy Harvin likely to make his season debut next week, this might be Tate's swan song as a reliable fantasy starter. But it's been a good swan song so far.
