Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Roddy White returned to action Sunday after missing more than a month with injury, and left with almost nothing to show for it. White had only one catch in the Falcons' 33-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Roddy White returns, but fantasy owners probably wish he hadn’t
The wide receiver returned to action Sunday, but you’d barely know it from his stat line. We break down the fantasy implications.

The wide receiver was targeted four times, but caught only one, for 20 yards. It was White’s sixth game played this season, and he hasn’t had more than four receptions or 45 yards yet. He is still seeking his first touchdown.
In the absence of White and co-star receiver Julio Jones, Harry Douglas has been the Falcons' top receiver. He had his worst game in a month Sunday, catching seven balls, but only going for 49 yards.
Fantasy impact: White was a popular fantasy play this week (he was started in 31 percent of Yahoo! fantasy leagues), but it’s hard to see how he was or is worth trusting. Early in the year, White was kept active, but was used primarily as a decoy for the Falcons, and that seems to be largely how he was deployed Sunday as well.
Until White actually produces, he should stay on the bench of every single fantasy team that owns him. In the meantime, Douglas is a fine low-end play, though the Falcons’ continued struggles mean Douglas might have a tough time getting going.
