Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte had easily his worst game of the season Sunday. The running back couldn't get anything going against the Detroit Lions as the Bears lost, 21-19.
Matt Forte gives fantasy owners his worst game of the season
The Bears running back couldn’t even get to 50 yards from scrimmage. We break down the fantasy implications.

Forte's 33 rushing yards, 1.9 yards per carry, 16 receiving yards and 4.0 yards per reception were all season-worsts. Coming off 179 all-purpose yards Monday night, Forte was much of the focus of the Lions defense, as the Bears' top two wide receivers, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, each had big games.
Fantasy impact: This game has to be chalked up as one of those things, as there is nothing fundamentally noticeable that should have resulted in Forte's awful day. Going forward, Forte is still a must-start in any league, even considering the Bears' tough running-back matchup against the Baltimore Ravens next week.
After that, Forte gets to face the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings, so his performance should definitely be on the rise soon.
