Fantasy impact: Quarterback Eli Manning seemed to struggle to find his receivers throughout the day. That had quite an effect on Cruz.
For a guy who’s easily regarded as an elite fantasy receiver, Cruz has clearly experienced his share of struggles lately. He’s now gone five straight games without scoring a touchdown. In fact, Cruz scored three times in the team’s first game of the season and only has four scores on the year, meaning that he’s been held out of the end zone and seven of the team’s nine games.
If there is any good news for crews and the Giants, it's that they finally have some kind of a running game going with the return of Andre Brown (broken leg) from injured reserve. The Giants are definitely feeling more positive now knowing that they've won three straight games, but it remains to be seen whether the team's success on the field will translate into personal success for Cruz.
