Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall had his biggest receiving day Sunday. It wasn't enough, as Marshall's two touchdowns were the only two the Bears had in their 21-19 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Brandon Marshall scores 2 touchdowns for Bears, fantasy owners
The Bears wide receiver had a huge performance Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marshall caught seven balls for a season-high 139 yards and two scores Sunday. They bookended the game, coming on the Bears' opening drive (a 32-yard pass from quarterback Jay Cutler) and closing drive (an 11-yard pass from quarterback Josh McCown). Marshall's second score brought the Bears within two points with 40 seconds left, but a two-point conversion attempt failed.
Fantasy impact: Marshall opened the season with consecutive hundred-yard games, and have had consecutive hundred-yard games the last two weeks. In the five games in between, he couldn’t get more than 87 yards. Overall, though, the wide receiver has 786 yards and eight touchdowns on the season, confirming his spot as one of the best wide receiver in both real and fantasy football.
Cutler left Sunday’s game with what the team called an ankle injury, replaced by McCown. It remains to be seen which quarterback will start for the Bears next week, but either way, Marshall is a surefire starter in every league.
