A week after he ran for 150 yards in a dominant performance against the St. Louis Rams, Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson fell back to earth Sunday in a disappointing performance. His rough game matched that of his teammates', as the Titans lost to the previously winless Jacksonville Jaguars, 29-27.

The running back only managed 30 rushing yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson ran for only 30 yards on 12 carries Sunday, adding 43 receiving yards on five receptions. He also lost a fumble early in the game that led to a Jaguars touchdown. That added up to only five points for Johnson in standard scoring.
Fantasy impact: There was a lot of reason to think Johnson's season was on the rise after last week's performance. It was nice to see he still had 150-yard potential in him, and the schedule of opposing defenses was getting much easier down the stretch after facing the Jets, Chiefs, Seahawks and 49ers in the first half of the year.
That’s why Sunday’s performance was so disappointing. A yards-per-carry average of only 2.5 against the Jaguars of all teams is miserable, and though he added 43 receiving yards, overall Johnson’s game was hugely underwhelming.
The Titans’ schedule going forward hasn’t changed, so Johnson could still do what fantasy owners were expecting, but this piece of evidence is rather damning.
