Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew equaled his best fantasy performance of the season Sunday, helping his team to a 29-27 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The win was Jacksonville's first of the season.
Maurice Jones-Drew ties season-high in fantasy points
The Jaguars’ running backs’ touchdown helped propel him to his best fantasy performance of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jones-Drew had only 41 rushing yards on 21 carries, less than 2.0 yards per carry, but he scored a touchdown and added 33 receiving yards on four receptions. Jones-Drew’s score came on a 6-yard rush barely a minute and a half into the game.
Fantasy impact: The fact that his 13 fantasy points Sunday equaled his best of the season says more about the kind of season Jones-Drew has had than it does about the game he had Sunday. Sunday, his ninth game, brought him over 400 rushing yards for the season, and he’s averaged barely 7.5 fantasy points a game.
Jones-Drew was drafted as an RB2 on most fantasy teams. At this point, though, he’s basically at best a flex, and is probably worthy of benching in coming weeks, especially with upcoming games against Arizona, Cleveland, and Houston twice.
