In the team's first game since star wide receiver Justin Blackmon's latest suspension, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receivers Cecil Shorts III and Mike Brown both struggled to get much traction in the offense Sunday. The two receivers had two receptions each, but it didn't matter as the Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans 29-27.
Cecil Shorts, Mike Brown only catch 2 balls each; fantasy value suffering
Neither Jaguars wide receiver did much in the team’s first game without Justin Blackmon. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shorts had two catches for 42 yards in the game, with Brown catching two for 40 yards. It was the fewest yards for each receiver in at least three weeks, as the team was held to only 214 total yards on offense.
Fantasy impact: The Titans have been the toughest team in fantasy football against opposing wide receivers so far this season, so it wasn't a big shock that Shorts and Brown struggled to get going. Unfortunately for both guys, the team's next four games come against the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, and Cleveland Browns, who are all also among the eight-toughest WR opponents.
Basically, Shorts is a high-end flex, and Brown a low-end at best, but both could really suffer over the next few weeks.
