Andre Ellington, Rashard Mendenhall continue to split fantasy points
Arizona Cardinals running backs Ellington and Mendenhall combined for 24 carries for 97 yards in the Week 10 win over the Houston Texans. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Ellington caught two passes for 18 yards while Mendenhall caught one pass for nine yards. Arians use of his rookie running back is perplexing, but it’s clear you cannot rely on either getting consistently good touches. Ellington averaged 5.0 yards per carry while Mendenhall averaged 3.2 yards per carry.
Fantasy impact: The Cardinals talk about using Ellington, but by now you can see it's just talk. Ellington is clearly the better option yet the Cardinals are inexplicably dedicated to him splitting carries with Mendenhall. Ellington has some added value in the passing game, though he was only targeted four times in this game. The Cardinals will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11. They are giving up the most fantasy points to running backs right now.
