The Dallas Cowboys had a pitiful performance against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, falling 49-17 in the end. The offense was unable to do anything against a Saints defense that has been susceptible to breakdowns all season, and Dez Bryant was right in the middle of the disappointment.
Dez Bryant has poor fantasy performance against the Saints
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had just one reception against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bryant has been great all season, and for what its worth, his one reception in Sunday's game was, in fact, great. He caught one pass for 44 yards, and was only targeted twice. The Saints covered him well, but more than that, they absolutely shut quarterback Tony Romo down.
Romo completed just 10 passes on the day, throwing for 128 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown went to rookie Terrance Williams, and it was his only reception on the day. Bryant actually led the Cowboys in receiving.
Fantasy Impact: The Saints don’t exactly have a weak secondary, but Bryant’s day was still ultimately disappointing. He’s been one of the top fantasy receivers in the NFL this year, so seeing him shut down so spectacularly is a big disappointment. One has to wonder if his back issues have something to do with his lacking performance.
