Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller never had a chance to build off of two encouraging games heading into Week 10, as the team logged just two yards on the ground versus the Buccaneers.
Lamar Miller bottled-up vs. Bucs, registers 2 rushing yards for fantasy owners
Lamar Miller and the rest of the Dolphins offense could not run the ball versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Miller bottled up early and the Dolphins falling to an early 15-0 deficit, the Dolphins all but abandoned the running game. The Dolphins attempted just 14 runs on the evening, with Miller getting the majority. Despite that, Miller finished the evening with a paltry two yards on seven carries in another unbalanced game plan.
Fantasy Spin: Though the Dolphins began with their focus on the run game with Ryan Tannehill spending so much time on his back, it was a trend that was halted abruptly. The biggest takeaway is that Miller seems to have shed Daniel Thomas from timeshare duties, but if the offense sputters as a whole, there will be not much for him to gain in the first place. In Week 11, Miller has a favorable matchup versus the San Diego Chargers, but his inconsistency doesn't make him anything more than a low-end RB2 option.
