The Jacksonville Jaguars won a game on Sunday and it actually didn’t have much to do with running back Maurice Jones-Drew. He had just 41 rushing yards on 21 carries, so that 2.0 yards per carry is pretty sad. They scored a season-high 27 points in the win, but the offense scored just two TDs – one from MJD and the other from fellow running back Jordan Todman.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Maurice Jones-Drew is a tough play against Cardinals
The Jaguars put one in the win column, but it wasn’t because of their offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

MJD is having one of the worst years of his career. His season-average of 3.0 yards per carry is on pace to shatter his previous career low of 4.4 and he isn’t on pace to rush for 1,000 yards either.
The Jaguars have nothing else on offense, so opponents are not willing to honor the passing attack. That should continue to be the case and they have a bad matchup on paper. The Jags only have one decent receiver in Cecil Shorts, but the Cardinals have all-world cornerback Patrick Peterson.
Fantasy impact: It's not going to be easy to play MJD this week. The Cardinals have shut down running backs all season, so he's more of an RB2 this week.
