Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Brian Leonard has solid matchup
Brian Leonard is coming around as the top back in Tampa. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Tampa Buccaneers are running out of bodies. On Monday Night Football they lost their starting running back Mike James to a broken leg and he will be out for the rest of the season. They will remain home again for a divisional game against the struggling Atlanta Falcons.
The team turned to Brian Leonard as the featured back, and he was somewhat impressive in the team’s first win of the season. Leonard is a Rutgers University product, so like receiver Tiquan Underwood, he obviously has the connection to coach Greg Schiano.
He wasn’t efficient in the win with 20 carries for 57 yards, but 20 carries are gold in the world of running backs. That 2.9 yards per carry is on par with his season average of 3.1, and that’s been an area of concern for the Bucs.
The good news is that they rank 14th in the NFL in rushing yards partially due to their lack of a passing attack.
Fantasy impact: It’s a good matchup and the Falcons haven’t been able to stop very many rushing attacks all season. Leonard isn’t going to tear it up or anything, but he is used in the passing game and can be viewed as a low-upside RB2 in PPR leagues.
