The Week 11 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Chicago Bears should be closely contested. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
Baltimore Ravens
If there's anything the Baltimore Ravens have demonstrated over the last two weeks, it is that they no longer win with defense and the ground game as their foundation for success. That's not because of a change in strategy; it's because they have been ineffective at it. Part of the blame for that has to fall on running back Ray Rice, who has managed no more than 45 yards rushing in each of his last four games. He's only found the end zone twice in the last seven games and he notched both of those scores in the same game.
Since Rice and teammate Bernard Pierce are no longer a sure bet to move the ball down the field, quarterback Joe Flacco will rely on Torrey Smith in the passing game to produce something of value. Smith in his own right has had some difficulty handling the duties of a number one receiver at least when it comes to fantasy production. He only has two touchdowns on the year. One of those scores came against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. The bad news is that he caught just five passes even though he was targeted a team-high 14 times last week.
Chicago Bears
The Bears will find themselves without quarterback Jay Cutler for the second time this season. Just after returning from a torn groin muscle, Cutler hurt his ankle against the Detroit Lions. That means Josh McCown will take over under center against the Ravens. Luckily for the Bears, McCown has given the team a chance to win in every opportunity he's been given. Against Detroit, he found Brandon Marshall in the back of the end zone late to bring the Bears within two.
Marshall scored twice against the Lions and now has six scores in his last five games. He's a sure bet to produce against the Ravens no matter who's throwing passes to him. Running back Matt Forte will also be a big part of the Bears gameplan. He'll look to bounce back in Week 11 after managing just 49 total yards on 21 touches last week. Prior to his lackluster effort last week though, Forte had four touchdowns in two weeks, including three against the Washington Redskins back in Week 7.
