The Week 11 matchup between the Oakland Raiders and the Houston Texans features two teams mired in slumps. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
Oakland Raiders
With running back Darren McFadden (hamstring) sitting out practice on Thursday, it doesn't look like he'll play against the Texans on Sunday, which means another week of fantasy prominence for his teammate Rashad Jennings. Jennings has been solid when called upon to take the lead in the Raiders backfield. In a losing effort against the New York Giants last week, Jennings managed to put together 107 total yards on 22 touches. Coach Dennis Allen said this week that Jennings has earned even more touches, so although he's playing against a very good Texans run defense, he should be starting in fantasy lineups, particularly in deep leagues.
That’s especially true considering the recent struggles of quarterback Terrelle Pryor. Pryor threw for just 122 yards and an interception while also losing a fumble in Week 10. To add to that, he also has an injured knee and there’s a chance that teammate and backup Matt McGloin will start for the Raiders on Sunday.
That might be a welcome change for wide receiver Denarius Moore. Moore has been held out of the end zone in three straight contests after starting the season with four touchdowns in his first five games. He's an elite receiver, no doubt, but he's rarely had the experience of catching balls from a top-of-the-line quarterback throughout the course of his career.
Houston Texans
As crazy as it sounds, the Texans organization hasn't fully committed to the idea of starting Case Keenum for the rest of the season, despite the fact the team doesn't seem to be playoff bound this year. Whatever the future holds, the young quarterback is relevant in fantasy leagues at the moment. Although he only threw for 201 yards against the Arizona Cardinals last week, Keenum did manage to find the end zone on three occasions, marking the second straight week that he's done that.
His ability to stabilize the Texans offense has certainly benefited the likes of DeAndre Hopkins and Andre Johnson. Johnson in particular has picked up his production levels to where fantasy owners would expect them to be. Although Johnson only finished last week's game against the Cardinals with 37 receiving yards, each of his five touchdowns on the season have come in the team's last two games. Fantasy owners who waited patiently and neglected to trade the veteran Pro Bowler earlier this season may see another big performance from Johnson in Week 11.
