Fantasy football projections, Week 11: 49ers vs. Saints featuring Frank Gore, Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham

The Week 11 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints features a struggling pass offense against another firing on all cylinders. We have fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

The San Francisco 49ers don't look like the Super Bowl contenders they were last year. Against the Carolina Panthers last week, they were only able to put up nine points. Although the Panthers are known for their defense, the 49ers will have to do better than that against the Saints. That's not good news for quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who only completed 11 passes for 91 yards last week.

Kaepernick will have to rely on running back Frank Gore to help move the ball. Gore has had one of the more consistent seasons of his career this year. He ranks sixth in the NFL with exactly 700 yards rushing and was able to amass 82 yards last week on just 16 carries for an impressive 5.1 yards per carry average. The 49ers' only hope is that the game is close enough that they can still use Gore.

Among Lance Moore, Kenny Stills, Marques Colston, Darren Sproles or Jimmy Graham, there's no question quarterback Drew Brees has way more weapons available to him in the passing game than his counterpart in San Francisco. Although the 49ers' secondarym and defense in general, is very good, it's difficult to imagine the Saints' well-oiled machine slowing down. Brees has 25 touchdown passes through nine games, many of those to his tight end.

Graham isn't letting foot problems slow him down when it comes to finding the end zone. That said, he didn't score against the Dallas Cowboys last week in a game where the Saints totaled 49 points. It wasn't for lack of effort as Graham caught every pass thrown to him in the game. He has eight touchdowns in his last six contests and should be a good bet to score against the 49ers.
