Fantasy football projections, Week 11: Vikings vs. Seahawks featuring Adrian Peterson, Russell Wilson and Golden Tate

We break down the Week 11 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks.

The Week 11 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks features a subpar team against a Super Bowl contender. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

Minnesota Vikings

There's no question the Vikings are a team in transition. The good news for their fans is that they notched their second win of the year against the Washington Redskins last week. As is usually the case, running back Adrian Peterson was responsible for driving the team's offense. He rushed for 75 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns, giving him nine on the season. Though Purple Jesus isn't breaking any records this year, he is the league's leading rusher when it comes to finding the end zone.

That's good news for quarterback Christian Ponder, who will need all the help he can get against a top-notch Seahawks defense. Ponder left last week's game with a shoulder injury but will start in Week 11. He has thrown just three touchdown passes in his last three games and he'll have a tough time against cornerback Richard Sherman and the rest of the excellent Seahawks defense.

Seattle Seahawks

Coach Pete Carroll has to be smiling from ear to ear these days. He's leading a Super Bowl contending team that's about to get better. That's because Percy Harvin is expected to suit up for his first ever game with the team. Despite the excitement of Harvin possibly playing against his former employer, Carroll has not committed to playing Harvin, and no one knows how much action he'll see if he gets the nod.

That means the Seahawks will still rely on Russell Wilson and Golden Tate to lead the charge through the air for Seattle. Wilson put together a particularly efficient effort against the Atlanta Falcons last week, completing 19 of 26 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns. One of those touchdown passes went to Tate, who finished with six catches and 106 receiving yards. Both players should be in for solid efforts again against an inexperienced Vikings secondary.
