San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick hasn't quite lived up to the hype he created last year. He came out like gangbusters in Week 1 with three scores and 412 yards, but he has fizzled out in a major way. Since Week 1, he has just six passing TDs and only 1,263 passing yards.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Colin Kaepernick provides home run potential
Fantasy owners have been waiting for a big game from Colin Kaepernick for a while. Will they get it in Week 11 against the Saints?

Last week was particularly bad against the Carolina Panthers. Kap had just 91 passing yards, 16 rushing yards, no TDs and one pick. His 91 yards served as the eighth time in last nine weeks in which he couldn't throw for 200 yards.
He gets the New Orleans Saints this week. The Saints are coming off a record-breaking performance last week with their 625 yards from scrimmage and 40(!) first downs.
Fantasy impact: The Saints are going to get theirs at home, so the 49ers will have to unleash some of their offense to keep up. Kaepernick’s owners probably aren’t excited about starting him with his lack of production on the whole, but there really is a lot of upside. If you find yourself in a bit of a tough spot against a very good opponent in your league, it’s not too crazy to try and swing for the fences and start him.
