Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett is listed as active for his team's matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Martellus Bennett active for Chicago Bears, fantasy owners on Sunday
Despite nursing an ankle injury, Martellus Bennett will suit up for the Bears on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bennett has been dinged up all season long with various ailments, and his ankle injury is what kept him limited in practice throughout the week. Despite that, Bennett will suit up on Sunday as the team gets all of its receiving weapons in order for backup quarterback Josh McCown to take the snaps once again.
Fantasy Spin: Unfortunately for Bennett, there are several factors working against him this week, which has been the case since Jay Cutler suffered a groin injury in Week 8 versus the Washington Redskins. After getting off to a hot start this season, Bennett has caught just nine passes for 72 yards and a touchdown over his past three games.
Furthermore, a forecast for rain and heavy wind in Chicago will not bode well for the passing game for either side, making Bennett’s fantasy outlook all the more shaky. But since the tight end position is such an uncertain one in the first place, owners without reliable options could somehow still do worse than bank on Bennett’s upside this week. Put Bennett down as a risky TE2 at best.
