The Buffalo Bills were without starting wide receivers Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods on Sunday, as both were inactive with injuries. In their stead, rookie wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and second-year T.J. Graham both had career-best days as the Bills beat the New York Jets, 37-14.

With the team’s top wide receivers both out with injury, the backups each scored touchdowns. We break down the fantasy implications.

Goodwin scored his third touchdown of the year, with 81 receiving yards on six receptions, adding one 17-yard carry. Graham, meanwhile, tied his career high with 74 yards (on two receptions), but also scored his second career touchdown, and first since Week 3 a year ago.
Both scores came on deep plays. Graham’s was a 34-yard reception late in the second quarter, while Goodwin’s went for 43 yards late in the third.
Fantasy impact: Neither Goodwin nor Graham is likely to maintain much value once Johnson and Woods return from injury; they were both pleasant surprises Sunday, but neither did enough to supplant the team’s top guys long-term.
If one of the two has much value going forward, it will likely be the former Olympic sprinter Goodwin, who the team drafted in the third round of the 2013 draft. He’s faster than Graham, and the Bills likely want to give him as many chances to make it as they can. Again, neither is a very strong option, but Goodwin should be above Graham.
