Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III totaled 308 yards and a pair of scores, but an interception late in the game cost his team a chance at a comeback. We break down the fantasy implications.

Griffin was pressured and hit for most of the game, bringing paltry yardage totals into the fourth quarter as the Redskins failed to put any points on the scoreboard. Then, a 62-yard touchdown pass to fullback Darrel Young sparked the Redskins offense, as Griffin finished the afternoon completing 17-of-35 passes for 264 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Griffin also added 44 rushing yards and two 2-point conversions to his stat sheet.
Fantasy Spin: It was another game where Griffin struggled, but managed to salvage what looked to be a complete waste of a QB slot for his fantasy owners. The bulk of Griffin's production did not come until the fourth quarter, as his options were limited most of the game due to poor protection and erratic throws, as well as Jordan Reed and Leonard Hankerson being sidelined with a concussion and knee injury, respectively.
Griffin's outlook is not a good one for Week 12, with the stout San Francisco 49ers pass defense next up on the schedule. With Griffin's erratic play and an offense that could be shorthanded going forward, fantasy owners ought to look for a contingency plan next week. In the meantime, his owners will gladly take his 20-plus fantasy point performance in a game where almost nothing went right.
