Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Giovani Bernard didn't lead the team in rushing yards Sunday, with veteran BenJarvus Green-Ellis taking that crown. Bernard did, however, lead the team in receiving yards, as the Bengals beat the Cleveland Browns, 41-20.
Giovani Bernard gives fantasy owners value in rushing, receiving
The Bengals running back actually led the team in receiving yards Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bernard had only 45 rushing yards on 10 carries, but caught four passes for 41 of quarterback Andy Dalton’s 93 passing yards. Bernard’s 86 overall yards from scrimmage was only his fifth-highest total of the season.
Fantasy impact: Basically nothing about this game went according to expectations for the Bengals, with wide receiver A.J. Green limited to two catches for 7 yards, Dalton having only 93 pass yards and Bernard not finding the end zone, but the team scoring 41 points regardless. It's hard to read too much into Bernard's (or Green's) struggles, and, after the Bengals' Week 12 bye, they have a series of games against much more forgiving defenses, so Bernard's owners should breathe easily.
