Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer had his best game of the season Sunday, with no interceptions for the first time and a season-high in passing yardage. The performance helped lead the Cardinals to a 27-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Carson Palmer has huge game for Cardinals, fantasy owners
The Cardinals quarterback had his best game of the 2013 season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Palmer had 419 passing yards on 30-of-42 passing, adding two touchdown passes. The performance also set season highs for Palmer in passer rating and yards-per-attempt average. His touchdown passes could hardly have been less similar, as one was a 14-yard pass to wide receiver Larry FItzgerald in the first quarter, and the other was a 91-yard catch-and-run to wide receiver Michael Floyd in the third.
Fantasy impact: This game was a testament to the power of going against the Jaguars’ defense. Palmer hadn’t topped 17 fantasy points in a game all season, and hadn’t topped 15 since Week 1, before putting up 24 fantasy points Sunday.
On the plus side, it's nice to see that Palmer still has games like this in him, but on the other, it's hard to see a way this continues long term, not when he struggled against teams like the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons earlier in the year.
