The Jacksonville Jaguars have played two games since wide receiver Justin Blackmon was suspended for the rest of the season, and in that time, starting wide receiver Cecil Shorts III has struggled mightily. That includes Sunday's game, when the Jaguars lost to the Arizona Cardinals 27-14.
Cecil Shorts has second straight bad game for Jaguars, fantasy owners
The Jaguars wide receiver couldn’t get anything going Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

A week after catching two balls for 42 yards, Shorts caught two for only 22 Sunday, his worst outing of the season besides the team's Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos, when Shorts left early with injury. Mike Brown, theoretically the team's No. 2 receiver with Blackmon out, only had 23 yards. Danny Noble led the team in receiving yards, with 62, but did all his damage on a single catch. Ace Sanders led the team in receptions and yards, with eight and 10, respectively.
Fantasy impact: Once Blackmon was suspended, it seemed like it was all set to be an offense that featured Shorts, but that hasn’t worked out at all, with defenses able to key up on Shorts and shut him down. A receiver that looked like he might be a viable No. 2 option a couple weeks ago is now barely qualified to be a fantasy team’s flex, at least until he shows an ability to break through.
