Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice flashed a burst and elusiveness that had not been seen since the first week of the season during his team's 23-20 overtime loss.
Ray Rice logs first 100-yard game of the season for fantasy owners
The Ravens’ feature-back turned in his best performance of the season but it was not enough to hold off an overtime loss. We break down the fantasy implications.

Before his outing versus the Chicago Bears, Rice totaled just 47 yards over the last two weeks, which he matched on one run during the opening drive. Rice eventually finished the drive with his first touchdown run since Week 5 versus the Miami Dolphins, setting the tone for his biggest game of the season. Rice finished the afternoon with 131 yards on 25 carries, also chipping in 17 receiving yards on three catches. It was his highest yardage total of the season and his first 100-yard effort on the ground.
Fantasy Spin: Just when fantasy owners were ready to give up on Rice, he showed that he still has value left to offer in all formats. He remains atop the pecking order in the Ravens backfield despite visibly showing a lack of burst in prior weeks.
But now, this game provides the best evidence of Rice being beyond his early-season hip injury, and as long as he remains on the mend, he can be considered an RB2 with RB1 upside. That will be the case next week despite having to face the league's top run defense in the New York Jets.
