Brandon Marshall stifled Sunday, but fantasy value still high
The Bears receiver had one of his worst games of the season Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marshall caught only four balls for 42 yards in the game. The yardage total was his second lowest of the season, but he scored a touchdown in his Week 5 game with 30 yards, so his four fantasy points Sunday marked a season-low total. The game was delayed for almost two hours in the first quarter because of area weather, and the Bears attempted zero passes in the third quarter because of poor conditions. Only Marshall’s teammate Alshon Jeffery, with 83 receiving yards, topped 50 in the game.
Fantasy impact: It’s really hard to draw any conclusions from this game, as the weather conditions changed a lot of game plans. A more important takeaway than “42 yards” or “four receptions” with regard to Marshall is his number of targets: 10. As Jeffery has burst onto the scene, it hasn’t taken any of the looks away from Marshall; Jeffery’s 11 targets were only one more than Marshall’s 10.
No matter who the Bears quarterback is going forward -- if Josh McCown holds onto the job or if Jay Cutler returns from injury -- Marshall is still an easy QB1.
