Starting his second straight game in place of No. 1 running back Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders running back Rashad Jennings had one of the best games of his career Sunday. Jennings was one of the Raiders' top offensive producers in their 28-23 victory over the Houston Texans.
Rashad Jennings gives Raiders, fantasy owners a huge day
The Raiders running back had the best rushing game of his career Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jennings ran the ball 22 times for 150 yards and a touchdown Sunday, including an 80-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter that capped off the Raiders’ scoring. Over the last three games, including two starts and one relief effort after McFadden got hurt, Jennings more than 17 fantasy points an outing, topping 20 twice.
Fantasy impact: McFadden has played in seven of the Raiders’ nine games this season and hasn’t topped 20 fantasy points yet, topping 12 only once. He’s an injury-prone and under-producing running back, while Jennings, starting in his place, has been dominant.
Until McFadden is ready to return, Jennings is a pretty clear-cut starter among running backs. Once McFadden does return, he still has the better pedigree, and so will get his share of touches. But Jennings has done enough that he’s not going to be shut out, and could still be a viable flex play when the starter gets back on the field.
