In his second game as the team's starter since previous starter Arian Foster was lost for the season with injury, Houston Texans running back Ben Tate had his highest yardage total of the season Sunday. The running back couldn't find the end zone, though, as the Texans lost to the Oakland Raiders 28-23, for their eighth straight loss after two wins to open the season.
Ben Tate gets yardage, but no scores for Texans, fantasy owners
The Texans running back couldn’t find the end zone Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tate ran the ball 19 times Sunday for 88 yards. He added 29 receiving yards on four receptions. His 117 yards from scrimmage was Tate’s highest total of the season, and his most since Week 17 of 2011, when he had 121. Tate has only one touchdown on the season.
Fantasy impact: So long as he’s healthy, Tate is the main, and just about the only, running back in Houston, and he’ll keep leading the team in carries. Even if the quality isn’t there -- Sunday’s 4.6 yards per carry was Tate’s highest since Week 4 -- the quantity should be enough to keep him relevant. It would be nice to see a touchdown here and there, but his yards should be enough to make him a flex play at least.
