Minnesota Vikings wide receiver John Carlson caught five passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in the team's 41-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. Carlson was targeted seven times in the game for the second straight week.
John Carlson continues making case for short-term fantasy relevance against Seahawks
The Vikings wide receiver was a popular target against the Seahawks in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: With teammate Kyle Rudolph (broken foot) sidelined, Carlson has been a dependable replacement at tight end. It's obvious he's trustworthy considering he's been targeted 20 times in the last three games.
He scored his first and only touchdown of the season against the Washington Redskins and its almost certain Rudolph will miss at least one more game. That means fantasy owners can plug Carlson in their lineup as a tight end reinforcement against the Green Bay Packers in Week 12.
His performance on Sunday was solid despite not finding the end zone. Quarterback Christian Ponder was ineffective, so Carslon had to do what he could as a safety valve.
Unlike the Seahawks, the Packers defense isn’t nearly as intimidating. Carlson could be a sleeper in that game and might be worth a look for those in need.
