Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush ran for just 31 yards on 12 carries in a 37-27 loss to the Steelers in Week 11. Bush was benched after the second quarter of the game, likely because he fumbled the football.
Reggie Bush benched as fantasy bust against Steelers
The Lions running back had trouble with ball security against the Steelers in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Teammate Joique Bell injured his foot filling in for Bush, which allowed Bush to get back on the field in the second half. There’s a good chance coach Jim Schwartz would have let his go-to rusher ride the pine for the remainder of the contest if not for Bell’s departure.
After the game, Bush commented that he wasn’t completely surprised by the benching. From a fantasy perspective, it’ll be interesting to see if Bell is able to play in Week 12 and if Schwartz will teach Bush a lesson by limiting his carries.
In all likelihood, Schwartz and Bush’s fantasy owners will see him playing regularly moving forward. The Lions need wins down the stretch to make the playoffs without a doubt. Bush will clearly be counted on to help out in that department.
