Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas came up big in Sunday's win over the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs. Thomas contributed to quarterback Peyton Manning's 300-plus yard day, and was the team's leading receiver in its 27-17 win.
Demaryius Thomas has big day for Broncos, fantasy owners
Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas had a big game against the Kansas City Chiefs. We break down the fantasy implications.

In all, Thomas caught five passes for 121 yards, good for an average of 24.2 yards per reception. The official stats suggest he was targeted a whopping 13 times, so while he only managed to catch five passes, his numbers are impressive given the way the Chiefs were so focused on stopping him.
The day's only receiving touchdown went to tight end Julius Thomas. Fellow receiver Wes Welker had eight receptions to lead the game, but just 72 yards (9.0 yards per reception). It's Thomas' second consecutive game with at least 100 yards receiving. He has not finished any game with less than 50 yards this season.
Fantasy Impact: Thomas has been one of the most effective fantasy receivers this year. He’s caught 60 passes (93 targets) for 914 yards and nine touchdowns. That touchdown number was bolstered by last week’s game in which he caught three of them, though he’s been held scoreless in five separate games. Still, he’s played himself into a must-start position at this point.
