Peterson carried the ball 21 times for 65 yards on Sunday, and clearly struggled. Minnesota has some serious issues at the wide receiver and quarterback position, so the gameplan was always going to be reliant on Peterson in Week 11. Unfortunately, the injury definitely seemed to have an effect on him.
There were times when Peterson had a hole and looked like he would break open a big run, but he didn’t quite have the speed or burst to make things happen. Seattle has the best secondary in the league, but the No. 15 rush defense. While that’s solid, it’s the kind of matchup that Peterson usually excels at, so his struggles were surprising.
Fantasy Impact: Peterson has definitely had some down games this season, but he’s still got 851 yards off of 194 carries, with nine touchdowns and a per carry average of 4.4 yards. Peterson likely won’t rest up for next week’s game if he has any say in the matter, and given that he’s ... Adrian Peterson, he remains a must-start regardless of injuries.
