Houston Texans running back Arian Foster (hamstring) is expected to be a game-time decision for the team's Week 9 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Foster is averaging just over 77 yards a game this season.
Arian Foster uncertain for game against Colts, Ben Tate benefits fantasy wise
The Texans star running back may not play against the Colts in Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Teammate Ben Tate (ribs) seems to be the healthier running back of the two and he will stand to gain fantasy value this week if Foster cannot play.
Coach Gary Kubiak said earlier in the year that he would like to see Tate and Foster engage in somewhat of a timeshare in the backfield this season. That really has hurt Foster’s numbers. Although he’s averaging 4.5 yards per carry, which is better than his 4.1-yard average last year, he only has a single touchdown this year after scoring 15 times in 2012.
Though injuries and the timeshare situation have a lot to do with it, it doesn’t help that the Texans are having a miserable season overall. With the team unlikely to bounce back and make the playoffs this year, fantasy owners shouldn’t be surprised if Foster ends up sitting out the game against the Colts.
