Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez was back at practice on Wednesday, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN. Gonzalez is dealing with a toe injury he sustained against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10. He didn't miss any time though, and played against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11.
Tony Gonzalez returns to practice Wednesday, fantasy value iffy against Saints
Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez returned to team practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gonzalez caught three passes for 29 yards against the Seahawks and seven passes for 63 yards against the Buccaneers. Both games were losses for the Falcons, and the team has lost four consecutive outings. The loss to Tampa Bay was a blowout, which is disappointing as they’d only won one game to that point.
It's unlikely that Gonzalez will miss Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints, as he hasn't sat out due to injury since the 2006 season when he played for the Kansas City Chiefs. Gonzalez will likely be active and one of Atlanta's primary targets on Thursday Night Football.
Fantasy Impact: Gonzalez has had a decent season to this point, though he’s ultimately been underwhelming. He’s only had one game in which he’s caught more than 10 passes, and has only exceeded 100 yards receiving once. That’s significant given that the Falcons have been without their top two receivers for much of the season. New Orleans has a tough pass defense, so Gonzalez might not be a smart option this week, especially if he’s limited.
