Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta (hip) is expected to practice on Wednesday morning, according to a report from Rotoworld.com. Pitta has been sidelined the entire season to this point.
Dennis Pitta to practice Wednesday, fantasy return coming soon
The Ravens tight end is finally expected to return to practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: teammate Torrey Smith and Marlon Brown have been the Ravens best receivers this year, but the team is struggling in general. Pitta will be a dependable safety valve for Joe Flacco but he'll need time to get up to game speed.
Veteran Dallas Clarke has done a good job filling in most of the year, particularly in the red zone. However, he’s not the high volume pass catcher he used to be. That means Pitta will likely take back the number one tight end spot in Baltimore.
He'll probably be a mid-level tight end fantasy wise as Torrey Smith is the only somewhat consistent player in the Ravens offense worth having on your roster. When the Ravens take on the Jets, Smith will be tightly covered.
That means if Pitta plays he might see some open looks. At this point though it’s too early to tell whether he’ll actually be a go or not.
