Julius Thomas misses practice Wednesday, fantasy owners should wait and see
Julius Thomas was not at practice for the Denver Broncos on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Thomas initially left the game with the injury in the second half, but returned for a few plays. He then sat out most of the fourth quarter. It’s unclear if the Broncos were just being cautious or if he couldn’t go, but he remained on the sideline. Thomas has dealt with significant injury issues over his first two seasons in the NFL. This is his first in which he’s been healthy for the majority of the time.
It's unclear if Thomas will miss any time, but his presence would definitely be welcome against the New England Patriots in Week 12. Thomas has caught 45 passes for 590 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
Fantasy Impact: Wednesday is often the “let’s be cautious” day for teams, so this may not be a huge deal. We’ll understand more about the injury when we see whether or not Thomas practices on Thursday and Friday. Fantasy owners should have a backup option ready, but if Thomas plays, he’s a must-start tight end any week, even against the Patriots.
