Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has been one of the most disappointing players in fantasy football this season. Through nine games, he had just 289 rushing yards and three touchdowns, making most owners jump ship.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Ray Rice hard to trust
Has Ray Rice finally broken out of his season-long slump, or was last week’s performance a fluke?

Rice finally broke through with his first 100-yard performance of the season against the Chicago Bears. He recorded 131 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, adding 17 yards on three receptions. The touchdown was his first since Week 5. The Ravens now have a date with the New York Jets in Week 12, needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Fantasy impact: Is Rice back? Not likely. The Bears have one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, making Brandon Jacobs look like he found the fountain of youth a few weeks ago. Fantasy owners still shouldn't trust Rice as a RB2, especially against the Jets' vicious defense. If you still own him, now is the time to sell high to owners chasing his Week 11 numbers.
