The Washington Redskins have officially ruled tight end Jordan Reed out for Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers. Reed sustained a concussion against the Philadelphia Eagles and has not passed the required tests to be able to practice, let alone play on Monday.
Jordan Reed injury update: Redskins TE ruled out for MNF vs. 49ers
Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is dealing with a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

While Pierre Garcon is the top receiver in Washington, Reed, a rookie taken in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, has caught 45 passes for 499 yards with three touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Reed has worked his way into being one of the better fantasy tight ends in the league. He’s been very productive to this point, surpassing Fred Davis and Logan Paulsen on the depth chart. Paulsen and Davis will get their cracks against a 49ers defense that is solid against tight ends. Davis has some modest upside, but if you rely on Reed each week, consider Sunday options.
