Julius Thomas injury: Broncos TE questionable, has iffy fantasy value
Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is questionable for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is listed as questionable on the official injury report for Week 12. Thomas is dealing with a knee injury that forced him to miss practice on Wednesday, and saw him limited in both Thursday and Friday's sessions.
Thomas seems like he'll be active for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, however. That's what most of the beat writers have been saying anyway, but it sounds like the breakout tight end could be limited in the game.
The Broncos have three very good wide receivers in Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Wes Welker, so there isn't a whole lot of pressure to ensure that Thomas gets the start and the passes thrown in his direction. It's still anybody's guess as to whether or not he'll play, though seeing in sit also wouldn't be a shock given his extensive injury history in the NFL.
Fantasy Impact: Thomas has caught 45 passes for 590 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. That’s with the three receivers mentioned above, so he’s definitely the real deal. His first two seasons were wiped away by injury, but fantasy owners have benefited from his strong play thus far this season. He’s a smart start whenever he plays, but fantasy owners should pay close attention to the inactive lists on Sunday and have a backup option ready.
