Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is listed as probable to face the New England Patriots on Sunday. He has an ankle sprain and will play despite missing Wednesday's practice.
Peyton Manning injury update: Ankle injury is fine, fantasy’s top QB ready to go
Peyton Manning’s high-ankle sprain won’t keep him from playing. We break down the fantasy implications.

Manning suffered the injury a couple weeks ago against the San Diego Chargers. It didn't affect his workload against the Chiefs with his 40 attempts. His numbers weren't really there though, completing 24 passes for 323 yards and one score. There's a good chance that the sub-par stats were because he was going up against the best defense in the league with the Chiefs limiting them to a season-low 27 points.
That won't be the case this week. The Patriots defense isn't what it was back on Week 1. The loss of defensive lineman Vince Wilfork and linebacker Jerod Mayo has made them a little more vulnerable as a whole.
Fantasy impact: It’s a no-brainer decision to play Manning this week. He should have no problem bouncing back from his quiet week and get back on track to break the record for most touchdowns in a single season.
