Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker is listed as probable for Sunday's game against his former team, the New England Patriots. He didn't practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and put in a full practice on Friday. Even though he's on the injury report, the probable status suggests he will suit up for the big Sunday Night Football matchup.
Wes Welker injury update: Fantasy status is fine despite being in injury report
The Broncos keep putting Wes Welker on the injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

On the season, he has 61 receptions, 648 yards and nine TDs on his 87 targets. Welker bounced back from a sub-par game against the San Diego Chargers in Week 10 with eight catches for 72 yards against the stout Kansas City Chiefs. He hasn't scored in two weeks, but still ranks fourth in receiving TDs among all NFL players.
Fantasy impact: It’s never easy to trust a guy is going to play in a Sunday Night Football game since it’s harder to have an emergency backup plan. If you can help it, it might make sense to pickup someone that plays in that game or Monday Night Football. That said, Welker is basically a lock to play, so it’s far from a necessary safety net.
