Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is listed as probable to face the New England Patriots on Sunday night. He has a knee injury and was limited in practice all week.
Julius Thomas injury update: Fantasy owners might want to have a backup plan
Julius Thomas might be in trouble for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Patriots are just the third team they’ve played with a record over .500, so the Broncos will definitely want to have Thomas on the field. He is putting up tremendous numbers this season with 45 catches, 590 yards and ranking third in the NFL in receiving scores with 10.
Fantasy impact: The Broncos are more forthcoming than most teams with their players and injuries, so there should be some concern that Thomas isn't going to play. It would be a savvy move to pickup a tight end just as an insurance policy. Obviously, if Thomas is going to play, you're going to use him, which means fantasy owners will want to pick up a tight end that plays in Sunday Night Football or Monday night. The only option that is probably on the waiver wire would be Joel Dreessen. Washington Redskins tight ends Logan Paulsen and Fred Davis are two other options.
