The Green Bay Packers will go with Scott Tolzien as their starting quarterback for a Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. No, there's not a quarterback controversy in Green Bay, just an injury to Aaron Rodgers, one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 12: Scott Tolzien
We take a look at whether or not you should start Scott Tolzien in your fantasy leagues in Week 12.

Unfortunately, Tolzien hasn’t been great thus far. Playing in two games (one start), Tolzien has completed 48 of 73 passes for 619 yards with one touchdown against five interceptions. He’s primarily been on practice squads and the inactive list throughout his career, so the stat line is unsurprising, but the Packers believe he gives them their best chance to win.
As it stands, the Packers need to win games now, and losses to NFC North rivals hurt all the more. Tolzien will have a lot depending on him when he takes the field on Sunday.
Fantasy Sit/Start: In his first start, Tolzien completed 24 of 34 passes for 339 yards and a completion percentage of 70.6. That sounds good and all, but he also threw no touchdowns and added three interceptions against the New York Giants. Fortunately, Tolzien faces a desirable matchup this week as the Vikings have one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. On top of that, they've allowed more passing touchdowns (23) than any team in the league this season. Tolzien is a very deep boom/bust start candidate if you want to roll the dice, but otherwise has little fantasy value.
